TIG Welding

A filler metal, if required, can be added separately. Like MIG welding, TIG welding also uses a shielding gas to protect the weld zone. TIG welding is known for its precision and ability to create high-quality welds. It is commonly used for welding thin materials, such as stainless steel, aluminum, and magnesium.


Arc Welding


Another popular welding technique that uses an electric arc between an electrode and the workpiece to create the weld is called arc welding. There are several types of arc welding processes, including shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), and submerged arc welding (SAW). SMAW, also known as stick welding, is one of the oldest and most basic welding processes. It uses a consumable electrode coated with flux to produce the weld. FCAW, on the other hand, uses a tubular wire electrode with flux inside, eliminating the need for a separate shielding gas. SAW is typically used for welding thick materials and involves a continuously fed electrode, a flux blanket, and a granulated flux.
